Hey there everyone! My name is Tera! I’m one half of this two person writing team! I swear me and Catherine were separated at birth! I’m a 36 year old Mom from Michigan (USA) but stuck in dreadful Oklahoma. I’m hoping to eventually end up living in Scotland! One day…..

So about this blog and my obsessions. I’ve loved history since a very early teenager. My Great Grandfather was from Yugoslavia and was in their Military. He fought against the Nazis in WWII and was eventually captured and held as a POW until the end of the war. Listening to his stories is was what started my obsession. I couldn’t get enough. Eventually my love of history expanded to all things history. Specially British and European Royals, Russian history and True Crime. I consider true crime to be a sub-category or history because we can learn so much from the minds of criminals and try to prevent as much killings as possible.

So how this blog will work, or how want it to work. 2 days a week I will post blogs about random history topics and Catherine will do the same. Once or twice a month we will post about a True Crime Topic, Serial Killers, sexual assaults, single homocides, mass shootings and so on. Also once or twice a month we will do a special blog on myths/legends of ancient times or even current times. Eventually we would like to add a guest blogge once or twice a month. So if you are interest please contact us!!

Hi, my name is Catherine and I have an obsession with history, royals and true crime.

Okay, so that started like an introduction to an AA meeting. In a way, that’s what this blog is about, talking about our obsessions.

My biggest passion (now its sounding like a dating show), would have to be history. Since I could remember, I have loved learning about the past, mainly Ancient Egypt. You can imagine my disappointment when my school didn’t have it in their curriculum. So, I did what any other person would do (I think), I taught myself.

As I’ve gotten older, and the internet has gotten wiser, my interests have broadened to royals and everything from the beginning of time to yesterday.

I believe that crime falls under history. We need to learn from our past so we can either not do it again, or have a better understanding of the subject.

Tera and myself have a crazy obsession about these topics, so I hope you enjoy our blog.
